Lianna + Andrew : An Intimate Winter Wedding

Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year! Another Holiday season has gone by in a blur. This year’s holiday season included an incredible last minute wedding that I had the pleasure of documenting.

Nashville residents Lianna and Andrew were visiting family in Masachusetts for the holidays.  They had planned a wedding in the spring but decided at the last minute to get married at Andrew’s family home while the family was already together for the holiday week.

They were a great couple to work with and were very welcoming.  It was obvious to me that neither of them could have waited much longer to finally tie the knot.  Congratulations to you two!

Meghan + Daniel: Mountaintop Wedding in the Berkshires

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of Meghan and Danny atop Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires.  The day started with a few showers but it cleared up just in time for the ceremony. We had a blast shooting this wedding. How could we go wrong? We had a great couple plus chairlift antics, a full dance floor, Irish salutes and, not cake, PIE! It was wonderful night, and we wish Meghan and Danny a happy life together. Congrats to you two!

Brie + Shawn: Herring Cove Elegance

Brie and Shawn looked so thrilled to get married. They both exuded such positive energy and I think it was clear to everyone that they are a very content couple. They felt the sand between their toes as they exchanged vows, sipped cocktails in the fresh ocean breeze and dined on traditional New England clambake fare. It was a lovely celebration and I was glad to be there to capture the moments. Congratulations!

Mary + Gayle: A Provincetown Wedding

I was so excited about these pictures that I had to post them right away. Mary and Gayle had a very intimate ceremony overlooking Cape Cod Bay off of Commercial Street. It was so powerful to witness a couple so devoted to each other recite their vows and exchange rings in such a private, majestic setting. After the ceremony, they signed their marriage license we headed to the Breakwater and Race Point Beach for the some photos. Our time together was short and sweet but that didn’t hinder my sense of their deep connection. It melted my heart to watch them negotiating their steps the rocks and sand always looking out for each other and doting on the details. Congrats to you both!

Catherine + Matt – A Backyard Berkshires Wedding

Catherine and Matt are a wonderful couple and it was so nice to have the opportunity to tell the story of their wedding day. They had a garden party in the backyard of the home that Catherine grew up in. After a couple cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with their guests, the lovebirds casually strolled  together to mark its beginning of the ceremony rather than a traditional aisle walk. A lively three-piece band played jazz standards and Motown favorites. I could feel the love as I took portraits of them in the front yard and captured the spirited dancing that ensued right to the last song of the set. Félicitations à vous deux!

Megan + Jesse – A Plymouth Wedding

Matt here.  I recently had the pleasure of photographing Megan and Jesse as they tied the knot right in our adopted home town of Plymouth, Massachusetts.  They are a great couple and were really fun to work with.  I started the day by meeting up with Megan as she was getting ready at the By the Sea Bed and Breakfast which is a stones throw from Plymouth Rock.  From there I hopped over to Saint Peter’s Church on Court Street.  After the ceremony we had a quick portrait session at Brewster Gardens and then from there over to the reception at Jones River Trading in Kingston.  Really a wonderful venue with lots of natural light and some great accent lighting as well.  Here is a small gallery of  their wedding day celebration.

Pat + Bill at the Old Stone Barn in Falmouth

Pat and Bill celebrated their marriage with a traditional New England clambake surrounded by their family at a beautiful, historic spot in Falmouth. There were hula hoops aplenty, corn on the cob, watermelon slices and group dancing under a canopy of stars. A magical time was had by all and I feel privileged to have had to opportunity to tell the story of their romantic evening in pictures. Best wishes to the happy couple!
